Venue
INLG 2026 will take place at the Spoorwegmuseum (The Railway Museum), Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The museum is housed in the historic Maliebaan railway station and a modern exhibition hall in central Utrecht. Its collection of full-sized historic trains gives the venue a distinctive atmosphere, well suited to both conference presentations and informal conversations among participants. The venue offers several conference spaces, including former waiting rooms, exhibition areas, and rooms equipped with audiovisual facilities.

Travel Information
Travelling to Utrecht
Utrecht is centrally located in the Netherlands and has frequent train connections to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague. Utrecht Centraal also provides connections to international rail services. Use the NS journey planner for journeys within the Netherlands and NS International for international rail travel.
From Amsterdam Airport Schiphol
Schiphol Airport has a railway station directly beneath the terminal. Direct trains from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Centraal take ~30 minutes. After collecting your luggage, follow the signs to the railway station and consult the NS journey planner for the current platform and departure time. Use the stands before the escalators to check-in prior to your journey.
From Utrecht Centraal to the Venue
By train
A local train runs from Utrecht Centraal to the museum’s own station, Utrecht Maliebaan, which is located within the museum grounds. The train usually departs once an hour from platform 2, and the journey takes ~17 minutes.
As the timetable and departure platform may change, check the NS journey planner before travelling. You will need a valid Dutch train ticket or a supported contactless payment method.
By bus
From Utrecht Centraal, the museum currently recommends buses 4, 8, 28, 50, 55, 73, or 77 to the Stadsschouwburg stop. From there, the museum is a short walk away.
Paying for Public Transport
You can check in and out using a contactless debit card, credit card, or mobile device, provided that you use the same card or device for both. Contactless payment is accepted on trains, buses, trams, and metros throughout the Netherlands.
